Events at the 2021 Trier Christmas Market

Dear visitors to the 41st Trier Christmas Market,

Unfortunately, there is no event stage this year. But we do have two events for children and families this year that can be held without stage or program:

On Sunday, December 5, 2021, and on Monday, December 6, 2021, a “Santa Claus” will visit us between 1 p.m. and 5 p.m. and will delight the hearts of children at Main Market and Cathedral Square.

Cathedral Events

Here we would like to point out a special offer in the Cathedral. However, an online registration is required!

Advent in the Cathedral – Music and Word
Traditionally pre-Christmas music is played in Trier Cathedral on all four Advent Sundays. With its combination of music and readings the Cathedral wishes to give incentives in the turbulent pre-Christmas season and give listeners a time to wind down in the subtly lighted Cathedral.

Trier Children’s Christmas
Traditional nativity play with many Advent and Christmas carols, awarded with the MUSIKUS prize of the Ministry of Cultural Affairs.
